Steinhafels Furniture has an immediate opening for a full-time, 1st shift mattress assembler at our bedding factory in New Berlin. This position involves operating machinery for mattress and box spring assembly.

Responsibilities

Specific Duties:                                                                                             

  • Gluing mattress foam layers                                                                   
  • Assemble springs, foam and upholstery materials into mattresses               
  • Operation of spray glue workstation                                                         
  • Mattress innerspring preparation                                                                     
  • Foundation upholstery and stapling                                                                 
  • Material handling                                                                                       
  • General factory clean up  

Qualifications

This position requires frequent lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling. Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Must have the ability to use various power tools for assembly purposes. Good attendance and punctuality required
