This dynamic role combines hands-on work with a leadership component, where you will lead the showroom merchandising efforts, coordinate the team’s workflow, and ensure smooth operations. You will oversee the setup of showroom displays, monitor inventory tracking, and ensure that all team members contribute effectively to maintaining the showroom's high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Visual Display Team: Organize and assign tasks to team members to ensure efficient merchandising, display setup, and inventory management.
  • Merchandising & Display Setup: Oversee and actively contribute to the creation and maintenance of visually appealing and on-brand showroom displays that highlight furniture and accessories.
  • Inventory Management: Track and manage in-store inventory, ensuring product levels are accurate and stock is replenished in a timely manner. Report discrepancies and assist in inventory audits.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with the sales team to ensure showroom displays align with customer preferences, sales goals, and current trends.
  • Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for display organization, product arrangement, and inventory management.
  • Physical Tasks: Safely lift, push, and pull furniture and home accents, assisting with their placement and setup throughout the showroom.
  • Workflow Optimization: Ensure that the team’s workflow is organized and efficient, balancing daily tasks with long-term merchandising goals.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented showroom environment, ensuring all products are properly tagged and displayed.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ensure efficient team workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to frequently walk, stand, and safely lift, push, and pull furniture and accessories.
  • A positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to work.
