Steinhafels is now hiring for a Maintenance Assistant. The overall responsibility is performing and/or coordinating skilled maintenance tasks throughout all company-owned properties, including buildings and grounds.

• Keep outside grounds clean and orderly for appearance and safety, including general landscaping, snow and ice removal, salting, etc.
• Inspect and report any noted building and grounds deteriorations, such as carpet tears, tile cracks and breaks, etc.
• Respond to and handle immediate maintenance problems which include toilet and sink overflow, drain back-up or other plumbing emergencies.
• Perform maintenance duties such as moving items, simple electrical projects, painting, cleaning, light construction, changing bulbs, and interior and exterior cleanup.
• Works with outside contractors on building and equipment repairs as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Regular lifting up to 100#’s
• Frequent walking and movement and may require climbing stairs
• Working inside and outside in all environments
